So, there you go our next blog.

This past few weeks so much happened in the world of energy, energy management and especially efficiency, I could not stop reading and posting…

Anyway, just in a nutshell a summary of our events.

With regards to our company, we organised an energy conference day, including seminars and workshops for the 12th of September which was a huge success. Our team managed to pin down speakers from companies like Audi, T-Systems and E.ON. We also had many experts explaining current issues with ISO 50001, carbon reduction and strategies on increasing production efficiency in practice.

E.ON introduced plans for running smart city projects and T-System was talking about the energy efficiency program of their data center they deployed in 2010 based on careful audition. Covering 14 000m2 by now they save 1.3 MW per year.

Skanska brought a fascinating presentation and current news on some critical issues also introducing their project, the LEED Platinum certification awarded GreenHouse office building using our AVReporter Energy Management Software.

Audi was highlighting the energy management concept behind a constantly growing production factory and the specific areas demanding the attention of the facility managers. It was also said how reduction of energy consumption is such a little percentage against focusing on increasing efficiency in performance. However combining the two is a compulsory issue for a high-achieving brand, like Audi, integrating energy management into their corporate sustainability programmes.

Below, you can view the day in pictures…
