If we are satisfied that our query is providing us with the report that meets our design criteria, we can then save the query so that we can reload it later from the Desktop Manager to rerun our report or use later as the basis for building a more complex report.

 

 

If we want to generate our report monthly (or to be regularly exported to another database) and we would like to compare the measurement data of several months with that one of the reference period, then we have to make the settings in the Desktop Manager Scheduler. It is important not to use fixed time intervals for these reports, since they refer always to the same period, but relative time intervals.
