You can connect with the databases in ION Enterprise software (ION Enterprise 5.x, 6.x) with Energy Manager Summary. Settings to be made through the database tab.

 

 

First we need to provide the computer name (datasource name). If computer cannot be identified by the computer name or computer appears to be unavailable, provide the IP address of the computer then the SQL server name. SQL server name can be found on computer with the ION software installed. Subsequently, give the database name, which you can select based on the system installed on your computer.

As a final step, you will need to give the login name and password to access the database. Finally, you can test the connection by clicking on the Test Connection button. If connection test is successful, then click on the Save button.
