This section is used to set or change the time zone if we do not want to run our queries according to the current time zone. This setting affects the WEBPublisher webclient application and does not have any effect on the time zone settings of the system itself. Reports and dashboards queries are run according to the time zone set here.

 

For example: If the database from within which our queries are run  were stored in Brazil according to its time zone, then changing the time zone to to Brazilian time will enable  query to run in the local (Brazilian) time zone.

 

If we want to reset our own local time zone, then find it in the drop-down list or click “Set own time zone” button.  Clicking “Save” button will ensure that the changes are saved.
