The Energy Manager Summary application also allows for displaying data logged by other devices in the consumption queries (e.g.: gas, water consumption, etc.).
The Energy Manager Summary software automatically processes real, reactive, and apparent consumption values, in the query settings you can only set the data of which device or devices should be used for creating the report.
The software automatically recognizes and manages the types of the different consumptions and carries out the query operations on the basis of these.
For example, it may happen that the impulse signals of external meters are connected to the metering device or data collector (e.g.: PLC), and the quantity logged in the inspection system has a custom name or type (e.g.: E1 branch real consumption, E2 branch real consumption, …), so that in the end, these field devices and their data values cannot be managed automatically. They must be configured and identified to AVReporter.
The ability to create user defined quantities will be useful in cases where the data is being collected from generic I/O devices, as illustrated in the following examples:
| • | Impulse signals of an external meter or meters are connected to one metering device (e.g.: network analyzer) |
Example: the impulse signals of 2 external electrical metering devices are connected to a network analyzer

| • | Impulse signals of other non-electric meter(s) are connected to a data collecting equipment (e.g.: PLC) |
Example: the impulse signal of 1 water meter is connected to a PLC

| • | Impulse signals of other non-electric meter(s) are connected to a data collecting equipment (e.g.: PLC) |
Example: the impulse signal of 1 water meter is connected to a PLC

First, select the data collecting PLC in the list of devices:

A type may be assigned to the following quantities of the device:

Define the types of the quantities:
