Important: In the data base setting window we can define from which data base we want to take the quantity variables and their value (Powerlogic or other SCADA systems, etc.). In case of survey of the Quantity variable the data base settings will be saved too. Each Quantity variable has its own data base setting parameter. When running the query, the Quantity parameters are automatically query the given values from the data base specified in their own data base connection parameter.

To set the database connection, click on the Settings, then on the Database settings tab. Business Intelligence is able to display and receive data coming through Powerlogic SMS softwares, Powerlogic ION Enterprise softwares, directly through EGX300 devices, through databases of other systems (through ODBC connection) and directly from field devices such as logging gateways, data concentrators, or PLC's (MODBUS, through FTP connection etc.).
