EUROPRINT deals with the production of electronic printed circuit boards. They use gas, water, electric energy and compressed air during production. The electric measurements are performed by the PM9C digital power-meters installed on site; the registration of other, non-electric quantities is done by the Twido PLCs installed in the area of the factory into data collection cabinets. The data collection-measurement system is connected to the server computer through a ModBus/TCPIP communication network, on which the ION Enterprise software stores and displays on-line the data.
The ION software has an integrated reporting option, but customer requirements can only be solved by the help of a more advanced query module, the AVReporter. AVReporter, by connecting to the MS-SQL database of ION, is capable of preparing individual, customized reports meeting the customer requirements from the data recorded by ION. There is the possibility to prepare KPI charts, cost allocation by production unit from manually entered data, by determining optional coherences among the measured data, to display and report derived quantities as well. The multilingual display surface has greatly contributed to the successful sales of the product, since EUROPRINT is not a Hungarian company, so the foreign owners can have a look at the statements in other languages as well. One can change the language either on-line or during velocity lag.
